I have managed to get our whirlwind 4 KW generator down and taken apart. The permanent magnets are de-laminatining and this jammed the rotor. Can they be rebuilt economically?

I believe they can be rebuilt.
A 4kw Turbine is worth putting some money into.
How much would it cost? I am not familiar enough with that particular turbine.
My personal feeling any turbine of that size is worth putting some money into from time to time.
It more than likely will be cheaper than buying a new turbine.

Wind Turbines are a lot funner to watch than solar panels
